UNESCO World Heritage temples in Turkey

Three listings cover these seven buildings: the Historic Areas of Istanbul, inscribed in 1985, Bursa and Cumalıkızık, added in 2014 as the birthplace of the Ottoman Empire, and Ephesus, added in 2015. Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque, facing each other across Sultanahmet, lead the tour count by a wide margin; since 2024 foreign visitors to Hagia Sophia enter by a separate paid route through the galleries. The Temple of Artemis and the Isa Bey Mosque are usually seen on an Ephesus day tour.
