Nearly every temple tour in Bangkok follows the same riverside line: the Grand Palace with Wat Phra Kaew, the reclining Buddha at Wat Pho next door, then a cross-river ferry to Wat Arun. Versions differ by transport, from walking and tuk-tuk to longtail boats through the Thonburi canals, and by add-ons such as Chinatown with Wat Traimit and Wat Mangkon, or the Marble Temple. The Grand Palace dress code is strictly enforced, and ignore anyone outside claiming it is closed today.
