Temples near Dubai

Dubai's three entries are all in the city: the Jumeirah Mosque, which non-Muslims visit on guided cultural tours, the Al Farooq Omar Bin Al Khattab Mosque in Al Safa, and the Grand Mosque in Bur Dubai beside the creek. Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque and the BAPS Hindu Mandir are about an hour and a half by road; both are free, but you need to book a time slot online. Fujairah's mosques, including Al Bidya, the oldest in the country, are a full day across the mountains to the east coast.
