Which one to choose in Prague
Maisel Synagogue vs Spanish Synagogue
Two temples in Prague. Maisel Synagogue has no online ticket listed; Spanish Synagogue has 3 tickets and tours to book. The table and the two notes below put them side by side; the full pages have what to see, the ticket and the timing for each.
Prague, Czech Republic
The Maisel Synagogue is run by the Jewish Museum in Prague, and you cannot buy a ticket for it alone. Entry comes with the museum's combined ticket, which also covers the Pinkas Synagogue with its memorial to the Holocaust victims of Bohemia and Moravia, the Klausen Synagogue, the Ceremonial Hall, the Spanish Synagogue and the Old Jewish Cemetery. The Old-New Synagogue, still the community's working synagogue, needs a separate ticket or a more expensive pass that adds it. Tickets are sold online and at several cash desks in Josefov, and the ticket is valid for one visit to each site rather than for timed entry.
Guided walking tours of the Jewish Quarter are the other main option, and for a first visit they are worth considering.

Prague, Czech Republic
The Spanish Synagogue is run by the Jewish Museum in Prague and cannot be visited on a ticket of its own. Entry is part of the museum's combined circuit ticket, which also covers the Maisel, Pinkas and Klausen synagogues, the Ceremonial Hall and the Old Jewish Cemetery; the Old-New Synagogue, still in religious use, needs a separate or extended ticket. You can buy the circuit at any of the museum's ticket offices in Josefov or online, and it is valid for several days, so you need not do every site at once.
Two other kinds of booking appear online.
